| Integrated Strategic Information Systems Pvt. Ltd. [ISIS] is a project management-consulting firm, specializing in providing cost-effective solutions through the application of state-of-the-art management tools and techniques. ISIS was founded to help organizations strategically integrate and harness their most dynamic forces – people, technology, and business environment – to accomplish their pre-determined goals. ISIS operates in three areas namely enterprise project management products, management programs, and process automation.
The management team at ISIS brings with it a rich experience in planning and quality automation. The team has being working in this domain since 1987. A major portion of the expertise comes from the planning automation projects that were undertaken for NASA, US Navy, Chrysler, etc. Other related experience was in building quality automation tools including code parsers, auto documentation tools, standards checkers, etc. Prior to founding ISIS, the team developed a SEI-CMM enabler for, what is now, one of the biggest software companies in India. This tools suite not only helped the company to get to SEI-CMM Level-5, but also helped them to be assessed at the highest maturity of CMMI.
The team started ISIS in 1996 with the aim of developing a product to help organizations build a highly collaborative workforce while bringing transparency to all stakeholders. Such a system was to facilitate timely intervention and decisions, establish reuse and sharing of knowledge, all this and more, to improve the productivity and bottom-line of the enterprise.
The integrated paradigm of iPlan was built on extensive market research to understand how projects were executed, how teams interacted, and the problems they faced in all phases of the project management lifecycle. This research was done with 79 organizations across major segments like automobile, publishing, manufacturing, construction, software, pharmaceutical, and R&D.
In 1998, this enterprise project management tool suite was put through a rigorous beta at 18 companies to understand the strengths and benefits of this new paradigm. Finally in 1999, the tool suite was released for commercial use.
Moving forward, the iPlan suite of tools will grow to assist organizations to manage their portfolios while integrating to other processes and systems. Working closely with their clients and partners, ISIS will strive to deliver integrated solutions that will steer the corporate towards the accomplishment of their goals and become a force to reckon with, in the competitive business world of tomorrow. | |

| As designers and manufacturers of high precision engineering components and systems for a wide range of industrial, aerospace and defense applications, iPlan has reduced our project lead time from six months to four months and reduced rework by 40%. The project involved design, development, engineering, manufacture and installation of an automated mechanical system. It was planned, monitored and controlled in iPlan and involved ten members. One thousand four hundred components were designed, developed, and manufactured for this project.
